Who we are

QAuncle (www.qauncle.com) is run by Lucky Singh in India ("we", "us"). You can reach us at lsc.aisolutions@gmail.com. QAuncle scans a website you point it at and reports design, usability, security and speed problems.

What we collect

• Your account. If you sign in, we use Google sign-in through Clerk. We store your email address, an account ID, your plan and your credit balance.
• Your scans. The web address you enter, the optional description of your project you type, the results (scores, findings, the fix prompts and explanations we write), and when the scan ran. A scan made while signed in is linked to your account. A scan made while signed out is not.
• Screenshots. Pictures of the pages we scan, at desktop and phone sizes, so we can show you where a problem is. They are stored privately and deleted after 24 hours.
• IP address. We keep the IP address a scan came from only to apply the hourly limit on how many scans one person can start. We remove it from the scan record after 7 days.
• Payments. When paid plans are available, payments are handled by Dodo Payments, who act as the seller of record. We receive confirmation of the purchase and your plan. We never see or store your card details.
• Your browser. We save your language choice and the ID of your latest scan in your browser's own storage, and Clerk sets the cookies needed to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or analytics trackers.

Why we use it

To run the scan you asked for, show you the results, keep your credits and history, stop abuse of the service, and make the scans more accurate. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.

Who else handles it

We use these services to run QAuncle. Each handles only what its job needs.

• Google Cloud (Mumbai region) - runs the scanning service.
• Supabase - our database and private file storage.
• Clerk - sign-in.
• Vercel - serves this website.
• An AI provider (currently OpenAI) - receives the screenshot of the page being scanned, the measured findings, and your project description, so it can write the explanations and fix prompts. It handles that data under its own terms.
• Dodo Payments - payments, when paid plans are available.

Some of these providers process data outside India.

Scanning other people's websites

We only load pages that someone asked us to scan and that anyone on the internet can reach. We never log in to a site. Site owners can read how our scanner behaves, and ask us not to scan their site, at /bot.

How long we keep it

• Screenshots: 24 hours.
• IP address on a scan: 7 days.
• Scans made while signed out: 30 days, then deleted.
• Scans linked to your account (your history): until you ask us to delete them or close your account.
• Credit and payment records: kept as long as accounting rules require. They contain amounts and dates, not your email address.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, have it erased, withdraw your consent, and nominate someone to act for you. Email lsc.aisolutions@gmail.com from the address on your account. We reply within 30 days, and when you ask us to delete your data we delete your scans, their screenshots and your email address from our database.

Security

Everything travels over HTTPS, screenshots and scan results are kept in private storage that only our service can read, and a signed-in scan can only be opened by the account that made it. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you we will tell you as the law requires.

Children

QAuncle is for people building websites and is not directed at anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will say so on this page and update the date above.
